Your Right to Request Removal

ReconnectMeNow respects the rights of individuals whose likeness, voice, or personality may be recreated on our platform. If you are the subject of an AI Clone (or an authorized representative) and believe it was created without your consent, you have the right to request its immediate removal.

Who Can Submit a Takedown Request?

  • The subject of the Clone — the living person whose likeness, voice, or personality has been recreated
  • Authorized family members — for deceased individuals, immediate family or estate representatives
  • Legal representatives — attorneys or agents acting on behalf of the subject or estate
  • Law enforcement — with valid legal process

How to Submit a Request

Send an email to [email protected] with the following information:

  1. Your full name and relationship to the subject of the Clone
  2. The name used for the Clone (if known)
  3. Proof of identity — government-issued ID or legal documentation establishing your relationship to the subject
  4. Description of the concern — why you believe the Clone was created without proper authorization
  5. Statement of authority — a statement that you are the subject, an authorized family member, estate representative, or legal representative, made under penalty of perjury

Our Response Timeline

Acknowledgment within 24 hours

We will confirm receipt of your request and begin review.

Investigation within 48 hours

We will verify your identity and investigate the claim.

Removal within 24 hours of verification

Once your identity and authority are verified, the Clone and all associated data (voice samples, chat memories, personality profiles) will be permanently deleted.

What Gets Removed

Upon a verified takedown request, we permanently delete:

  • The AI Clone and all its configuration data
  • All uploaded chat histories associated with the Clone
  • Voice samples and voice clone data (including from our voice processing provider)
  • Photographs and avatar data
  • AI-generated personality profiles and writing style analysis
  • All conversation histories with the Clone
  • Vector embeddings and memory data

DMCA Takedown Notices

If you believe content on our platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent:

Your notice must include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work
  • Identification of the infringing material on our platform
  • Your contact information
  • A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized
  • A statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-Notification

If your Clone was removed due to a takedown request and you believe the removal was in error, you may submit a counter-notification to [email protected] including:

  • Your contact information
  • Identification of the material that was removed
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed in error
  • Consent to jurisdiction of your local federal court (or any judicial district in which we may be found)
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Abuse Reporting

If you believe a Clone is being used for harassment, fraud, impersonation, or any other harmful purpose, please report it immediately to [email protected]. We take all abuse reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
